NASHVILLE, TN (January 30, 2026) — Continuing a rapid ascent in country music, rising artist Myles Morgan releases his latest single, “Never Been Better,” out today, Friday, January 30. The new track arrives following a breakout 2025 that included signing with WME for global representation, standout performances at CMA Fest, Carolina Country Music Festival, and Barefoot Country Music Fest, a debut headline run on the “I Still Got It” Tour, and opening for country icons Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton.

Blending reflective lyricism with a powerful, modern country sound, “Never Been Better” showcases Morgan’s emotional growth as a songwriter, leaning into a more introspective, emotionally nuanced side of his artistry while maintaining the authenticity and relatability that have become hallmarks of his music. Morgan shares, “This is my most emotionally honest track yet — about leaving a relationship and pretending you’re healed while still battling the emotions internally.”

Following the success of his December 12, 2025 release “Thought You Were Leaving”— which landed on Spotify’s All New Country playlist — Morgan once again collaborates with his trusted creative team on “Never Been Better.” Produced by Clayton Collins and Dalton Wixom, the track features guitar work from Dominic Frost of Morgan Wallen’s band, with mixing by Dave Clauss and mastering by Joe Hutchinson. Co-written by Myles Morgan, Collins, and Wixom, the song underscores Morgan’s hands-on role in shaping both the sound and the story as he builds momentum toward a slate of 2026 releases.

Morgan’s rise has been fast and undeniable. After discovering music unexpectedly when he picked up his father’s unused guitar after high school, he began performing along the Gulf Coast — including early sets at the iconic Flora-Bama — before building a loyal grassroots following during his time at the University of Alabama. His 2024 debut single, “Nobody’s Fault But Yours,” surpassed one million streams, solidifying him as a compelling new voice in country music. Follow-up releases like “Jon Boat or a Yacht” (co-written with Jack Mills, son of Wayne Mills) and “Is This Seat Taken” expanded his sonic identity and fanbase.
