NASHVILLE, TN (January 30, 2026) — Joyann Parker releases “Got Love,” her first single of the year and the uplifting lead from her forthcoming album Life Lines, out Friday, March 27, 2026. Backed by Mark Lamoine (guitars, background vocals), Tim Wick (keyboard), Chris Bates (bass), Bill Golden (drums, percussion), and Monique Blakey (background vocals), the chart-topping American roots and soul singer-songwriter delivers a vibrant anthem driven by lively grooves, pulsing rhythms, and her unmistakably soulful voice. A two-time Billboard Blues Albums charting artist and hailed as “a flat-out dynamo… commanding powerhouse pipes with honesty and conviction” (Glide Magazine), Parker is one of the most electrifying voices in today’s modern roots music landscape.

Inspired by a close friend’s journey to healing, “Got Love” is an uplifting anthem of hope and resilience, a song that moves the body, lifts the spirit, and reminds us of the good that still exists in the world. Rock & Blues Muse highlighted the track, calling it “… an up-tempo rocking ballad about the importance of love regardless of what path we’re all on… lyrics speak to everyone… full bodied and soulful, conveys warmth and true soulfulness.” Parker adds, “‘Got Love’ is about choosing hope — even when things feel heavy. Watching someone I love fight their way back reminded me how powerful love can be when it’s steady, patient, and real.”

Following the Billboard Blues Albums chart success of her previous releases, Out of the Dark (2021) and Roots (2023), with Roots debuting at No. 10, Life Lines finds Parker prioritizing honesty over polish, delivering songs that feel intentional, authentic, and deeply connected to her own experiences. The album represents her bold evolution as a genre-blending artist, inspired by the stories written across our lives, in memory, and in the lines, we carry as we grow older. “It’s a reminder that getting older is a gift,” Parker says. “Every line has a story, and I’m learning to wear mine with gratitude.”

Rooted in a lived-in, vintage aesthetic shaped by the sounds of the 1970s, Life Lines draws on the influences of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, the Eagles, Linda Ronstadt, Van Morrison, and Albert King. Fusing soul, rock, blues, and Americana, Life Lines feels both timeless and urgent, showcasing some of Parker’s most emotionally honest songwriting to date. The album forms a deeply human collection of songs built on resilience and connection, exploring the invisible threads that carry us through hardship and healing — the moments, relationships, and choices that ultimately shape who we are.

Recorded with her longtime touring ensemble, Life Lines captures the intimacy, trust, and musical chemistry of the Joyann Parker Band. Parker shines on vocals, guitar, and piano, supported by Mark Lamoine (guitar, backing vocals), Tim Wick (keyboards), Scott Graves (horns, percussion, backing vocals), Chris Bates (bass), and Bill Golden (drums, backing vocals). Co-produced by Parker and Kevin Bowe, with Lamoine as executive producer, the record was crafted at The Kill Room and mastered by Bruce Templeton at Microphonic. The result is a warm, analog-forward sound that mirrors the album’s reflective themes and emotional depth.
