Seattle, WA (October 3, 2025) — 16-year-old, Seattle-based guitar prodigy Nikhil Bagga will take the field at T-Mobile Park in Seattle, Washington, to perform a special National Anthem for Game 1 of the American League Division Series (ALDS) between the Seattle Mariners and the Detroit Tigers on Saturday, October 4, 2025

The game will broadcast live on FS1 at 5:38 PM Pacific Time, but don’t miss the National Anthem at 5:30 PM PT, when Nikhil will kick things off.

Nikhil’s rendition of the National Anthem is known for its electrifying guitar solos, drawing comparisons to Jimi Hendrix’s style, and has earned him recognition as one of the most dynamic young performers in the Pacific Northwest. Picking up the guitar at age nine, he has since been named a 2025 YoungArts Award winner and one of 425 Magazine’s “30 Under 30.” 

This isn’t the first time Nikhil has set the stage ablaze with his guitar skills. He has performed the National Anthem at numerous major sporting events, including four appearances with the Seattle Mariners (MLB), two with the Seattle Kraken (NHL), and a standout performance at the 2024 NHL Winter Classic at T-Mobile Park in Seattle, where he played in front of 50,000 fans as the Kraken faced the Vegas Golden Knights, continuing to captivate audiences with his dynamic guitar solos.

Nikhil shares, “It’s always an honor to play the National Anthem and I am super excited to be a part of the Mariners playoff run, it’s amazing to see what they’ve done this year.”
