NASHVILLE, TN (July 10, 2026) — Today, pop-country singer/songwriter Naomi Jane releases her latest single, “Farren Rd.,” the third glimpse into her forthcoming album Kinda Sorta Country, due out Friday, October 9. Blending country storytelling with her signature cinematic songwriting, the new track transforms a familiar hometown road into a reflection on memory, growing up, and the stories places carry long after we’ve left them behind.

Written by Naomi Jane and Adam Zelkind and produced by Zelkind, “Farren Rd.” features pedal steel from Greg Leisz, fiddle and mandolin by Jimmy Mattingly, vocals from Greg Holden, and additional contributions from Theo Haber and Tyson Motsenbocker, adding warmth and texture to Naomi’s roots-leaning blend of indie, folk, and country.

“‘Farren Rd.’ is a real place in my hometown, but the song isn’t a diary entry,” Naomi shares. “It’s about how every town has that hidden road where youth gathers — out of sight, out of rules, and full of feeling. The details are real, but the story is what happens when your mind starts turning places into memory before you even realize it’s happening.”

Following the release of the satirical country-pop edge of “Pumpkin Eater” and the tender warmth of “Clementines,” “Farren Rd.,” opens a more cinematic, memory-driven chapter of the project — rooted in place, adolescence, and the way ordinary landscapes become emotionally permanent.
