NASHVILLE, TN (May 19, 2026) — Today, modern rock band Farline — featuring Brandon Ray (lead vocals), Mike Wright (guitars, keyboards), Bryan Carmer (acoustic guitar, vocals), Rich Snowden (drums), and Jason Niewiadomy (bass) — release their debut single, “Going Home.” The band delivers an anthemic, stadium-sized sound rooted in emotionally driven songwriting, drawing influence from the hard rock spirit of the ‘80s and ‘90s. “Going Home” is mixed by three-time GRAMMY Award-winning engineer Tom Lord-Alge.

Written and produced by Wright, “Going Home” stands out within Farline’s forthcoming 11-track album (release date TBA). While much of the record is drawn from early-era material that has been rediscovered and newly reimagined, “Going Home” was written entirely from scratch in 2025, serving as a direct bridge between the band’s past and present.

“Going Home came about in between recording sessions,” Wright explains. “I was trying out amps at a local music store when the main riff hit me. Over the next few days, it just naturally took shape, and the lyrics tell the story of meeting my wife in Miami.” That track serves as both a personal and creative statement. “It reflects who we’ve always been musically while still evolving,” Wright adds. “It’s about realizing that home isn’t a place on a map, but being with the person you love — the road back to who matters most.”

With the release of “Going Home,” Farline also delivers the official music video. Reflecting the song’s themes of nostalgia, reconnection, and emotional permanence, the visual brings Wright’s songwriting to life through cinematic storytelling and emotionally driven performances that capture the song’s heartfelt core.

Originating in the early ‘90s, with some relationships tracing back to high school in Akron, Ohio, the band developed a shared musical language through years of writing and experimentation. The band’s early songwriting core crafted more than forty original songs before eventually stepping away.

That chapter remained unfinished until 2025, when Wright uncovered a collection of original tapes while clearing out a basement. What stood out wasn’t the recordings’ lo-fi quality, but the authenticity captured within them.

“Early on we went through a lot of songs and tried them out live. Continuing to improve and define who we were. Some songs made it, a lot of them didn’t. We were just trying to hone our craft,” Snowden reflects. “At the time, we weren’t thinking about longevity — we were just creating,” Carmer adds. “Listening back now, it’s clear those songs have held up.”

Reuniting the original creative relationships became central to the project. While Brandon joined the band later, his dynamic vocal range now plays a key role alongside Rich’s percussive style, Mike’s layered guitar work and vintage synth textures, and Bryan’s emotionally driven lyrics. Together, Farline is grounded in long-standing friendship and a shared passion for rock ’n’ roll.

In an era defined by immediacy, Farline’s story unfolds differently — shaped by patience, rediscovery, and the belief that meaningful music endures. As new music rolls out throughout 2026, the band looks ahead to bringing these songs to audiences both on record and beyond.

“I hope listeners feel the same emotion we felt when these songs were first coming together,” Wright says. “Forming Farline now was about finishing what we started.”
