Produced by five-time GRAMMY-nominated producer Paul Moak — band hits the road through the end of the year, including a run supporting Rock & Roll Hall of Famers Cheap Trick

NASHVILLE, TN (September 28, 2026) — In case you missed it: THE BAND FEEL — Garrett Barcus (vocals), Tyler Armstrong (guitar), Kadin Rea (bass) and T.J. Steinwart (drums) — released their debut full-length album, What Of Now, on August 21, and the momentum hasn’t slowed down since. Reuniting with five-time GRAMMY-nominated producer Paul Moak at The Smoakstack in Nashville following their 2025 EP Into The Sun, the band delivers a 13-track album that draws on ‘70s rock, Laurel Canyon songwriting and mid-century jazz, filtered through a modern lens.

THE BAND FEEL collectively share, “‘What Of Now’ was created with no intention besides to provide a musical experience that makes you feel. And being our debut record, the importance is understood that this release is how we will be assessed from now on. So, more than anything, our passion behind this record is knowing that as the music guides you through songs of power, vulnerability, love and sorrow, it will be felt in whatever way the ear and heart tell you to.”

One live review described THE BAND FEEL onstage as blending “the softness in their ballads and the power in their classic rock sound to create a vulnerable yet awe-provoking experience,” while another called the band “a promising glimpse into the direction of emerging American rock.” More recently, Vintage Guitar sat down with Tyler Armstrong and Garrett Barcus to talk about What Of Now and Armstrong’s guitar collection, while Gibson went inside the vintage guitars he played while recording the album.

THE BAND FEEL pulls from blues, soul, R&B, classic rock, progressive rock and ‘90s alternative, along with the poetry and visual art of both yesterday and today. Rather than a revival act, the band sees itself as a living, breathing progression of rock, built for the stage first.

With 750K+ social followers, 100 million-plus views and sold-out headline club shows from coast to coast, the St. Louis four-piece is proving there’s still a hungry audience for rock played loud and without apology. They did it without a hit single, a label machine, or an algorithm doing the work for them. After opening for Dirty Honey, The Black Crowes and Blackberry Smoke, the band closes out 2026 with headlining dates on the “What Of Now” Tour and a November run supporting Rock & Roll Hall of Famers Cheap Trick on the “All Washed Up” Tour.
