SMOKY-VOICED INDIE-COUNTRY ARTIST
CLAUDIA HOYSER
RELEASES SOPHOMORE ALBUM
BEFORE THE DAWN
TODAY, FRIDAY, JANUARY 9

NASHVILLE, TN (January 9, 2026) — Independent country singer-songwriter Claudia Hoyser delivers her seven-track sophomore album, Before The Dawn, today, marking the boldest step in her rapidly rising career.

Known for her smoky, indie-country tone and unmistakable “fingerprint voice,” Hoyser has quietly built one of modern Americana’s most impressive grassroots followings — amassing over 120 million organic views, landing multiple singles on the MusicRow Country Breakout Charts, securing placements in international films and national campaigns including Camping World’s “Life’s Better Hitched,” and cultivating a global fanbase through her viral weekly series, Hoyser Country Monday, which averaged 800,000 viewers per week.

Coinciding with the album release, Hoyser shines a light on its title track, “Before The Dawn,” which was named Holler’s “Spotlight Song of the Week,” described as “a haunting and elegiac tribute to surrendering to love delivered with Hoyser’s warm and smoky, indie-country rasp.”

“‘Before The Dawn’ feels like walking through a daydream — a flirty, warm diary-style love note about finally letting love in,” Hoyser shares. “Ryan and I wrote it a year before we got engaged, capturing a secret that had been quietly growing for eight years. Sometimes love is complicated, but this song is about it seeping in anyway, lighting up the darkness and warming every hesitation.”

Before The Dawn captures Hoyser at a creative turning point. Leaning into a rawer, more intimate sound, the 2026 collection explores burnout, healing, wandering spirits, deeper love, and the quiet bravery required for personal transformation. Produced by Zarni DeVette and co-written with longtime collaborator and fiancé Ryan Hurley, the album’s simplicity and emotional clarity put Hoyser’s storytelling front and center — with Hurley performing every guitar part to create a cohesive sonic world.

“This album brings the dark to light,” Hoyser shares. “It was a lesson in trusting myself musically and personally, fulfilling my need for change.” Featuring singles like “Girl in Blue,” “Breathing Smoke,” “We Grew Together,” and “Tides Gonna Rise,” the record peels back the layers of an eight-year relationship, navigating heartbreak, resilience, burnout, and the enduring tenderness of long-term love.

A Fairport, NY native, Hoyser began singing in her parents’ basement and filling journals with lyrics. Her breakthrough came in 2017 when an unmixed demo of “No Matter What It Costs” hit local radio during an internship at a music studio. “Hearing my song on the radio made something click. It made me believe I could really do this,” she recalls.

Hoyser has shared stages with Keith Urban, Miranda Lambert, Blake Shelton, Little Big Town, Clint Black, Brantley Gilbert, Chase Rice, Tyler Farr, Chris Young, Ryan Bingham, Justin Moore, and more. She has performed at Dodger Stadium, the original Woodstock site, SummerFest, California Rodeo Salinas, The Iridium, and Watkins Glen International for NASCAR, and appeared on KTLA Entertainment News. Opening for her longtime hero Miranda Lambert remains one of her most meaningful career moments.

Through her playful “Hoyser Country Monday” series, fans also fell in love with the recurring hidden moka pot — inspiring the launch of her growing lifestyle brand, Hoyser Country. Together, Hoyser Country Blend Coffee and her coffee-infused whiskey, Hoyser Country Drunken Bean, now reach over 400 retail locations worldwide, with the coffee also shipping to 22 countries

With plans to hit the road in 2026 to support her new album, a homebase in Nashville, and expanded product lines, Hoyser calls this her most honest, energized, and creative chapter yet. “Honest, golden, artistic — that’s how I see this next chapter,” she says. “I just want to do this forever and never look back wishing I tried harder. The dawn is here.”
