NASHVILLE, TN (January 8, 2026) — Chart-topping American roots and soul singer-songwriter Joyann Parker will release her forthcoming album, Life Lines, on Friday, March 27. Anchored by Parker’s commanding vocals and unfiltered storytelling, the album reflects a period of personal reckoning and creative clarity. Blending soul, blues, and modern roots music, Life Lines finds Parker prioritizing honesty over polish, delivering songs that feel intentional, authentic, and deeply connected to her own experiences. Following the Billboard Blues Albums chart success of her previous releases, Out of the Dark (2021) and Roots (2023) — with Roots debuting at No. 10 — Life Lines further cements Parker’s place as a singular, fan-powered voice in today’s independent roots landscape.

Recorded with her longtime touring ensemble, Life Lines captures the chemistry and trust of the Joyann Parker Band, featuring Parker on vocals, guitar, and piano alongside Mark Lamoine (guitar, background vocals), Tim Wick (keyboards), Scott Graves (horns, auxiliary percussion, background vocals), Chris Bates (bass), and Bill Golden (drums, background vocals). The album was co-produced by Kevin Bowe and Parker, with Lamoine serving as executive producer. Engineered and mixed by Bowe at The Kill Room and mastered by Bruce Templeton at Microphonic, the record leans into a warm, analog-forward sound that mirrors the album’s reflective themes and emotional depth.

Life Lines embraces a vintage aesthetic inspired by the sounds of the 1970s, channeling influences such as Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, the Eagles, Linda Ronstadt, Van Morrison, and Albert King. The album traces the stories written across our lives — in memory, in experience, and in the lines we carry as we grow older — blending soul, rock, blues, and Americana into a sound that feels both timeless and immediate. “I wanted Life Lines to capture the warm grit and golden glow of ’70s Americana,” Parker says, “with songs rooted in real stories of love, loss, and resilience. It’s a reminder that getting older is a gift. Every line has a story, and I’m learning to wear mine with gratitude.”

Anchored by up-tempo grooves, rich harmonies, and Parker’s unmistakably soulful voice, Life Lines showcases some of her most emotionally honest songwriting to date. Standout tracks include “Think of Me,” written to her children as a reflection on young motherhood, healing, and forgiveness, and “Got Love,” an uplifting anthem inspired by a close friend’s recovery journey. Together, the songs invite listeners to move, reflect, and feel deeply.

Born and raised in the small northern Wisconsin town of Mellen, Parker began singing in church at age two while her mother played piano. With early classical training and a musical upbringing shaped by family records rather than radio, she gravitated toward soul, gospel, rock, and emotionally resonant songwriting. A late pivot from pre-pharmacy to music education ultimately set her on a creative path rooted in authenticity and trust in her natural, soulful voice.

Over the past decade, Parker has risen through the Midwest music scene, earning a reputation for heartfelt songwriting and a commanding, vulnerable stage presence. Mentored by leaders in the Minneapolis blues community — including longtime guitarist and business partner Mark Lamoine — she has built a career grounded in integrity, connection, and purpose. With Life Lines on the horizon, Parker enters 2026 with her most confident, soulful, and fearless work to date.
